Creating a Board
Step-by-step guide to creating your first feedback board
Creating a Board
This guide will walk you through creating your first feedback board in Round Two.
Step 1: Navigate to Boards
From your dashboard, click the "Boards" button in the sidebar navigation.
You'll see a list of all your boards (or an empty state if this is your first board).
Step 2: Create a New Board
Click the "Create Board" button at the top right of the boards page.
A dialog will appear where you can enter your board details.
Step 3: Enter Board Information
Fill in the board creation form: - Name: Choose a clear, descriptive name for your board - Description: Explain what kind of feedback you're looking for - Slug: This creates the URL for your board (auto-generated from the name)
Tip
The slug is what appears in your board's URL. For example, a board named "Product Feedback" might have the slug "product-feedback" and be accessible at roundtwo.io/board/product-feedback.
Step 4: Choose Board Access
Select who can access your board: - Public: Anyone with the link can view and submit feedback - Private: Only invited users can access - Password Protected: Users need a password to access
Important
You can change the access settings later, but it's good to think about this upfront.
Step 5: Create Your Board
Click "Create Board" to finish.
Your board will be created and you'll be taken to the board page where you can start collecting feedback!
